Visual Literacy

It's amazing that students skilled in visual literacy are able to create meaning from images, which in turn improves their writing proficiency and critical thinking skills. I've always seen how people look at an image and they all have very different perspectives and interpretations of it. it's fascinating how we are all so different but yet the same. I definitely think visual literacy is important because it opens up the world for imagination and creativity into someones mind. It's important to be creative because then we can express our own ideas and dreams without a guideline of what's right and wrong because there isn't ever one right answer. I really am fascinated by the idea of visual literacy, and think its very fundamental to the learning process.
