Expectations this upcoming semester

As I walked into my First-Year Seminar Writing class, I had no idea what to expect. I met a new friend named Natalia and although I have to admit, I was a bit nervous sitting in class not knowing what this class had to offer except some writing skills and a deeper understanding  or who my teacher was and how was she like. But at the end of the day, I was very content and excited to start off this semester. I think I will be able to obtain a greater understanding of writing and literatures that I will read and be able to develop my writing and learning skills and be able to write better papers and essays with the skills I will learn from this class. I plan to succeed in this class by staying on top of all my assignments instead of procrastinating and also staying on top of the readings, along with actually comprehending what I am reading instead of going over the words. I also will practice my writing skills and if I ever have questions I would utilize the writing center. Overall, I am nervous about this class but excited to start and learn more and gain more knowledge!
